"Every thread has a beginning. Mine started in a city woven with craftsmanship."

Where It All Began

I grew up in Surat, India a city known for its vibrant textile industry, skilled artisans, and generations of craftsmanship. Some of my earliest memories are filled with fabrics, colours, embroidery, and watching ideas transform into garments.

Fashion wasn't something I discovered later in life; it was always around me. It became my way of understanding people, culture, and creativity. Looking back, I realise those everyday moments quietly shaped the designer I would become.

Falling in Love with Design

Curiosity soon turned into purpose.

I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, where I explored everything from fashion illustration and textile development to garment construction and product creation. Every project pushed me to think differently, refine my skills, and find my own creative voice.

Graduating as a Gold Medalist wasn't simply an award. It represented years of persistence, countless sketches, late nights, and the belief that hard work always finds its moment.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

My journey didn't stop after graduation.

Working as a fashion designer allowed me to understand the realities of product development and collaboration, while teaching fashion illustration reminded me that creativity grows even stronger when it's shared with others.

Those experiences taught me that great design isn't created alone. It's shaped by teamwork, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Taking the Leap

"Sometimes growth begins the moment you leave everything familiar behind."

Moving from India to the United States to pursue my Master's in Luxury and Brand Management at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) became one of the biggest turning points in my life.

Starting over meant adapting to a new culture, a new education system, and a completely different way of thinking. It wasn't always comfortable, but every challenge helped me grow not only as a designer, but as a person.

Seeing Fashion Differently

At SCAD, I discovered that fashion extends far beyond beautiful garments.

I immersed myself in branding, merchandising, consumer behaviour, retail strategy, product innovation, marketing, and luxury business. Through collaborations, research, and strategic projects, I learned how creativity and business come together to build brands that leave lasting impressions.

It transformed the way I approach every idea from simply asking "How does this look?" to asking "How does this make people feel?"

Today

Today, my work lives where creativity meets strategy.

I bring together my background in fashion design, luxury branding, product development, merchandising, and marketing to create experiences that are thoughtful, functional, and emotionally meaningful.

Whether I'm designing a product, building a brand story, researching consumer behaviour, or developing creative concepts, I believe the strongest ideas balance beauty with purpose.

Looking Ahead

This journey has taken me from the textile streets of Surat to creative studios at SCAD, and every step has shaped who I am today.

But I don't see this as the destination.

I'm still curious.
Still learning.
Still creating.

Because every collection, every project, every collaboration, and every challenge becomes another chapter in the story I'm continuing to write.

"Fashion gave me a creative voice. Strategy gave it direction. Together, they continue to shape the story I'm building."
